ABOUT THE COURSE

Self Paced study followed by online teaching to embed understanding

Certificate of Participation

Accreditation for 3 years in an internationally recognised course

This event is a blended online course.


Once registered and deposits made - all participants receive a copy of the MHFA Manual and instructions to undertake the self study (approx 5-7 hours online).


  • PHASE 1: Complete this well structured, interactive course. Once completed send your certificate of participation to the instructor for the next phase.
  • PHASE 2: Two engaging, interactive and supporting sessions : 8:30am-11:30am and then 1pm to 4pm (~6 hours overall)

Once completed - you can choose to pass the online assessment to be recognised as an accredited MHFAider for your workplace or community.


Internationally recognised and valid for 3 years (then it can be re-certified)

Process
Apply and Pay
Complete an application form and pay for the sessions. Ensure you add your postal address for us to send the MHFA course manual and materials
Materials and e-Learning
Physical materials will be sent and a digital link to the self learning component and materials will be sent.
Log in and complete the e-learning
Undertake Live Video training
Submit completion certificate to instructor and then attend both the ~3 hour online training sessions with full participation
Completion and Accreditation
Provide an evaluation of the course to receive certificate of attendance.
Next complete the final online test and receive 3 year MHFA accreditation
